Nathan and I wanted to foster Logan's interest in music further. In doing so, Nathan bought Logan a keyboard for Christmas. Please enjoy some keyboard scenes.

Christmas Eve: by the Covered Bridge in Vail-our annual photo
A Leahy family tradition: Christmas jammies Logan said, "This isn't what I asked for!"
Logan's letter to Santa said: "I have been a good boy. I do things the first time. I listen to my family. I eat my fruits and vegetables. This year I'd like trucks, tractors and a crayon maker."
Logan decided to make Santa chocolate cookies this year.
Santa's delivery: Logan was instructed to wake mommy and daddy first. And NO peaking. He did just that except when mom when to wake dad, Logan went to the bathroom and saw what Santa had left!

Christmas is near, so Santa is here. Logan's first visit with Santa was one in which he was pulling away. The second visit with Santa was one in which he was excited. He, with a certain amount of assertiveness, told Santa that he wanted trucks, tractors, books and "the crayon machine" he'd seen on television.
In addition to decorating the tree, Logan has been singing to "Christmas with the Chipmunks," opening a door to his Advent box, and hanging an ornament on the tree Nanny made him. We've also read a different Christmas story nearly every night. All these things have created a great deal of excitement for our son! I imagine he'll have trouble sleeping this year. I too anticipate an early riser Christmas morning.
It's been a pleasure to witness his anticipation build with each day.
